Welcome Note from the Principal

Members of the Our Lady of Humility Community,

I am excited to become a part of your strong school community as principal this upcoming year!  I am a product of Catholic education myself, having gone kindergarten through college in Catholic schools, and I appreciate your commitment to Catholic education.  The thing that drew me to OLH was the motto “Catholic and Excellent.”  I love how succinctly it puts our mission as Catholic educators!  I feel that God is calling me to Catholic school leadership and I am excited about taking on the principal role at Our Lady of Humility!  With the goal to have Christ at the center of all that we do, I know excellence is achievable.  I love Paul’s words in his letter to the Philippians (4:13), “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  The sky's the limit when we have faith.  I look forward to leading OLH to new levels of excellence!

I have been teaching junior high math for over a decade and love being able to express numbers/information clearly and concisely in order to make it useful.  While I know not everyone loves math like I do, I hope to share my joy and excitement for math with the school community as we use data to provide the best education for our children.  Data will help us to make decisions about what we are doing well and where we can improve.  Our school mission (to actively engage the minds and spirits of all young people through a Christ-centered education, fostering successes, and responsibility, one child at a time) will drive decisions and data will inform us about how these decisions are working.

Sincerely,

Miss Dolan
